Meta has committed nearly $900 million to support the construction of a 600 MW solar plant (Clear Fork) in Texas, as well as long-term agreements for 595 MW from other solar projects. Altogether, these initiatives deliver a substantial clean energy supply—enough to power over 150,000 homes—and reinforce the growing credibility of large-scale solar infrastructure across the U.S.
These collaborations showcase the scalability and economic strength of modern solar development. By securing stable, large-scale demand through corporate agreements, solar capacity becomes more investable, lowering risk and encouraging further expansion throughout the energy sector.
